owning your intuition in a world that gaslights you

If you’re not one for the F-word, gird your loins, because I’m coming in hot today.

I just finished teaching a module called “Trusting Intuition, Trusting Ourselves” in our Return To Intuition Women’s Circle, and I’m fired up about something I want to share with a wider audience.

I am so fucking tired of having women in my office and in my community come to me, sharing in a hushed voice about their intuitive, spiritual or mystical experiences, and then quickly use words to dismiss themselves as “woo woo”, “ridiculous”, or “unscientific”

Do you know how many times a friend or client has shared a beautifully natural knowing or vision, only to look at me, fear flashing in their eyes, and ask, “Do you think I’m crazy?”

The answer is: Too many.

But let me be clear—I’m not tired of the women who do this. I’m tired of living in a broken, disconnected culture that conditions us to doubt ourselves, labeling us as “crazy” or “irrational” while it gaslights, devalues, and pathologizes our innate ability to connect with the Unseen realm.

The truth is, systems of power thrive when we live in fear. Every time we question our own experiences, our gifts, or our intuitive abilities, we’re doing the oppressor’s work for them. And I don’t want to do that anymore. I’d like to help you stop doing it, too.

Over the past few months, I’ve gotten really clear that, as a card-carrying self-gaslighter whose inner-skeptic voice sounds like Gilbert Gottfried, and who, even still, CAN CONNECT CONSISTENTLY TO THE UNSEEN, I am in a unique position to help people.

I wasn’t born knowing how to do this. I’m not one of those people (although I am jealous of those people). My intuitive abilities began to emerge when I started offering Reiki sessions, but trusting myself enough to speak those experiences out loud? That was HARD-WON. It’s been a journey, let me tell you.

So, if you’re ready to stop questioning yourself, to stop feeling alone, and to start tapping into the guidance that’s here for you, check out my workshop called Connecting With Your Spirit Guides. If anything I’ve said resonates, check out the link and see if it feels right for you.

Rant complete. Thank you for the air time.

Fuck the patriarchy. And lots of love,

Meghan
